Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Norbrook Media LLC ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the Me vs Joe mobile application (the "App"). We built Me vs Joe to be private by design: the App has no user accounts, and the personal stats you enter stay on your device and your own iCloud.

The short version

There is no login and no account — we never ask for your name or email.
The health, fitness, finance, and lifestyle stats you enter are stored on your device, and synced only to your own private iCloud if iCloud is enabled.
We do not have a server that collects or stores your personal stats.
The App shows ads through Google AdMob and processes purchases through Apple — those companies handle data under their own policies.

1. Information You Enter

Me vs Joe lets you log personal stats — such as sleep, steps, income, weight, and other health, fitness, finance, and lifestyle figures — so the App can compare them to U.S. averages. This information is stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device database. If you have iCloud enabled, it may also sync to your own private iCloud account so your data is available across your devices. We cannot see, access, or collect this information — it never reaches a server we control.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, or the personal stats you log. The App has no account system and no analytics SDK that profiles you. We have no database of users.

3. Content Downloads

The App downloads articles, quiz questions, and reference data from our content service (content.mevsjoe.com). This is a one-way download. Like any internet request, our hosting provider may automatically log technical information such as IP address and request time for security and reliability. We do not use this information to identify you.

4. Advertising

The App offers optional rewarded video ads (for example, to revive a heart during a quiz) through Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google's advertising technology may collect device identifiers and usage information. This data is handled by Google under the Google Privacy Policy. You can limit ad tracking at any time in your device's Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking and Settings › Privacy & Security › Apple Advertising.

5. Purchases

Optional purchases — the Joe Pro subscription and energy packs — are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never receive or store your payment card details. Purchases are handled under the Apple Privacy Policy.

6. Notifications

If you allow notifications, the App schedules reminders (such as a daily check-in prompt or an alert when new content is available) locally on your device. You can turn notifications off at any time in iOS Settings or within the App.

7. Children's Privacy

Me vs Joe is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App includes advertising and optional purchases and is intended for a general, teen-and-older audience.

8. Data Retention & Deletion

Because your stats live on your device and your own iCloud, you are in control of them:

Deleting the App removes its locally stored data from that device.
You can remove iCloud-synced data via Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Manage Account Storage.
You can also clear your logged stats from within the App.

9. Your Choices

Limit ad personalization in your device privacy settings (see Section 4).
Turn off notifications in iOS Settings.
Disable iCloud sync for the App in iOS Settings.
Delete the App to remove its local data.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective" date at the top of this page. Significant changes may also be noted within the App.
